Trinity has been a Stephen Ministry congregation since 1998!

This ministry is a one-to-one caring ministry where trained Stephen Ministers provide a listening ear, caring heart and their time for someone who is experiencing a difficult time in their lives. Care can be provided for those facing a wide variety of crises or life challenges. These may include people who are grieving, divorced or separated, terminally ill, unemployed, hospitalized, homebound, lonely or discouraged, experiencing spiritual struggles and more.

Stephen Minister receive 50 hours of Christian care giving training in the congregation. This is conducted by Stephen Leaders who have had additional training of a one week training course thru the headquarters of Stephen Ministry in St. Louis, Missouri. These Stephen Leaders conduct training, continue supervision of the trained Stephen Ministers and do the assignments of the care givers to the care receivers.
