Clayton is a full-time student at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.  He will graduate with a degree in elementary education in the Spring of 2008.

Originally from Salina, Kansas, Clayton took over the Director of Youth Ministries position on January 1, 2006. Prior to Trinity, Clayton has gained experience in ministry through working at Camp Tomah Shina Lutheran Outdoor Ministries for two summers as a counselor. At Trinity, he leads the Junior and Senior High youth groups, which includes Sunday Schools, Confirmation, and Senior High Hang Nights. He is also in charge of the church website and sings in the Late Service praise band, 3 Days Rising.

Originally from Minnesota, Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Music Education and Organ and Church Music from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa (2000). Following graduation from Luther, Ben served as the Director of Music at First Lutheran Church in Williston, ND from 2000-2003, before coming to Lawrence to work on a Master’s degree in Church Music at the University of Kansas. In addition to cultivating and nurturing Trinity’s music ministry, Ben continues his graduate work at KU in pursuit of the DMA in Church Music.
