Welcome from the Pastor

Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church

We welcome you to the website of Trinity Lutheran Church, located in Lawrence, Kansas.

Our mission is to be a "Place of Grace with a Call for All to Continue the work of Jesus." Our prayer is that we as a community continue to discern what it means to be God's hands and feet in the world. We acknowledge that God calls everyone to participate in ministry, from the youngest infants to the oldest adults, and we encourage our members to discover what that means for them.   Whether it is here in the church building, at home, or at a place of work, your call to serve God's people is important and it takes many forms.

We encourage you to explore this site and get a glimpse of what it means for Trinity to be a "Place of Grace with a Call for All to continue the work of Jesus."

Peace, Pastor Mark

Announcements

There will be a congregational meeting Sunday, Dec. 21, following the 11 a.m. service to vote on whether to extend a call to a new pastor. It will be in the Fellowship Hall.

"Reconciling in Christ." At the annual meeting Nov. 16, the congregation heard a report on Trinity becoming a Reconciling in Christ congregation.  A brief poll was handed out to help expand the discussion of this topic. These are available at the Welcome Desk, along with a box to place completed surveys.  Please return a survey by Dec. 21.

You can also learn more about this and the Biblical understanding of hospitality through study resources online at http://www.reconcilingworks.org/.  Contact Kevin Boatright for more information.
